I began working in construction in 2008, stepping away from a career in high-tech to pursue something more tangible and fulfilling. What started with hands-on creative work — like concrete countertops and owner-builder remodels — grew into a deep respect for the craft and the impact a well-executed project can have on a home and family.

In 2013, I became a licensed contractor, motivated not just by passion, but by frustration. I had seen the other side — contractors who didn’t return calls, showed up late, or delivered work that simply wasn’t acceptable. Too often, I found myself redoing what others had left behind. That experience shaped a core principle I still hold today: treat every project as if it were my own home.

Over time, Peters Construction has evolved from a one-man operation into a small, dedicated team of skilled craftspeople, designers, and trusted trade partners. While I’m still involved in the details, I’m proud to say our growth has come from consistency, word of mouth, and a shared commitment to quality. We choose our collaborators carefully — people who take pride in their work, respect the jobsite, and hold themselves to the same high standards.
